Turbo hardly ever got a chance to come in and when it did down the straight it was so powerfull that It pushed me too wide in the sweeper.

Also tried FDR's of 6.6, 7.6 and 7.25
In the end the best seemed to be 7.25, with 40 timing.

Indoors at that club I usually take around 1700-1800mAh out of my Thunder Power lipo's, this software was taking up to 2200-2300mAh out of them!

No-one could challenge me along the straight but the handling wasn't up to the power available.

More experimentation next week at my outdoor local, provided the weather holds!

lower the delay to .5 and try 5 turbo to see if it helps.its crazy how you gear down with the new version it gets faster and pulls forever. i seen your post on xray with the chassis woe's

did you try knocking the delay down to .2 or .3?

I played with the RPM today and this is what I found. Timing Boost starts to advance when the speedo recognizes your low rpm value. It will continue to advance timing up to your high rpm value. At that time, the turbo will kick in and advance timing even more. I tried low numbers (1500 range) and higher numbers (4500-7000) beginning and found that the car was best around 5000 rpm on the low value. I also adjusted high rpm from 12000 to 20000 and got the best results around 18000. I started with turbo off and then brought it in after a few test runs. My final setup today was like this.

17.5 Duo2: 0 timing
Drag: 35
Throttle: 3
Boost: 50
Turbo: 10
Delay: 0
Ramp: 2
Start rpm: 5400
End rpm 18,000
FDR: 5.76

We have some low speed sections where we roll through at around 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. This setup gave me great control through these sections while still having alot of torque out of corners and great speed down the straight. The car pulled hard and consistently around the whole track.

The more narrow the gap in "start" and "end" rpm the more aggressive the car will be. It will also generate more heat. The wider the gap the more controlled and linear it becomes.

I tried similar setups all day yesterday (offroad though ) and ultimately decided that turbo was a wash as the kick just broke the tires loose. Ended up using boost of 45+ and setting the end rpm upwards of 1600 for a smooth kick in the pants.

well i wont be back at the track for a week or so but i got a little time to try some hard pulls in front of the house.. our track is VERY high grip and has a nice bit of mid speed sweepers only one tight turn and is about 140 feet.. i really want bottom end so i tried a rather radical setup to find some and it works very well near as i can tell.. i was able to slip my photon diff while spinning the wheels for several feet on hard launches, and i have never heard this diff slip.. here is where i am:
velociti 13.5
FDR 6.25
db 15
rs 100
bs 100
nw 100
bl/fw
tp 5
vc 2
pc off
boost 45
turbo 5 (could probably be off for my track)
delay 0.0
sensored
end 16,995 (~20mph according to gearchart)
start 3,064 (~4mph )
ramp 3

seriously, this pulls like a $&^**@!

For such calculations it is quite normal to use the nominal voltage of the pack (3,7 x number for cells for lipo), meaning 3,7 (1s), 7,4 (2s), .... 18,5 (5s). You get the picture.

This will reflect the voltage under load better than if you use the final charge voltage of 4,2V/cell.

With the newest high discharge cells (keep their voltage higher under load) this value can be increased. With the mentioned eLogger you can get the actual pack voltage under load, and then that's the value you will enter in the calculator.

Regards Ronny

As I said before I see no advanced tab,its the old hotwire screen, with only the view version, apply settings, update esc tabs.I had 199 as well as 200 on this speedo before the new download.
what you need to do is deleted all the tekin program again like you did the first time.then hit the start bottom left button and click on Document files and look for any Tekin folder or files, left click on the link and right click to deleted ,make sure there is any more tekin in the hitting files...then reload the new software again..should works...good luck

Looks like everyone is liking the new software. 17.5T Rubber TC looked like 13.5T, and 13.5T felt like 10.5T this weekend. There was a lot of back to back tests of Mamba vs Tekin.... and Tekin appears to be on top. The best thing about all of this power is the cooler motor temperatures.

There was no need to reduce the turbo delay, I was trying to get rid of it.

When the turbo came in it was mental, I was outrunning just about everything down the straight without and turbo.

Motor was coming off at 52degC (126degF) without any heatsinks or fans.

Although someone else managed to smoke both their Tekin & X12 combo mid-race (hmm, I love thew smell of melting electrics in the morning ), unfortunatley I never got to hear exactly what gearing he was running, but I think it was the usual case of overgearing far too much
