Since I got my RS and Hotwire I have been messing around with my settings a lot and trying new things with it. I was curious what other people have been using as far as settings go with similar setups for 1/12 scale cars. I am running the Tekin RS v200 firmware, Fantom Ion2 17.5 (Trinity Duo 2 based) and SMC 50c 4900 single cell lipo. Any ESC setup, motor timing and rollout suggestions would be helpful. 80 ft x 48 ft track, medium to high traction.

The Vegas version offers the delay to go down to .2 seconds.

The turbo does "hold" if you lift slightly while on. During this event we're "waiting" a bit to see if you come back on throttle. If you do we recover on turbo in the appropriate amount.

Please put me on that list for the Vegas version. Our track here in Hawaii is very close in length to the iic track and a .2 or .3 delay would be perfect!

Thanks!!

You may end up changing your roll out. Track demensions would be helpful.

Also guys, we're going to release the "Vegas" software for all. I've had a ton of requests for it. This isn't the last word from us for now though...there is more to come.
cheers Randy

add me to the Vegas Software list please

Suggestion,

Why don't you just PM Randy and then leave the thread for discussion.

Regards,

Calvin.

The turbo delay lower than 0,5 is only use full on a small track. On larger tracks i prefer to use a higher turbo delay. It improves top speed acceleration and the motor temp stays lower.
On smaller tracks it's a good thing when you use a lower Boost.
Also do I think that the lower Turbo time is more for a 13,5 and so than for a 10,5T.

I want the Vegas version but I prefer the new version above this one.
Can't wait till it's there.

i am running a duo and not a duo 2. I think the roll out with the duo2 would be 1-2teeth less on the pinion
Throttle profile 5
boost 18
turbo max
motor timing is 0
push at 70
rollout 96mm
delay .5
