Sorry for a complete noob question. I know FX is for brush and RS is for brushless but can the RS be used for brushed motors?

and is tekin still supporting software updates for the FX?

Thanks in advance

Yes the RS can also run brushed motors and the Hotwire software is like an all in one software suite for all of the current Tekin ESC's.

I know Tekin was setting up a team driver section on there site where we could go and download the team driver profiles/setups. Randy will have to confirm if this is done or still going to happen.

I must say the New Software for the Tekin RS is just Great! In all of my years racing it is by far the best speedo I have ever used. Tekin is always working on something better for the competition side of r/c that will only help the hobby enthusiast and make it a more reliable product. Great job Tekin.

I use the RS Pro in all of my cars and it is a beast. I have also been testing all different 13.5 motors like the DUO motors, LRP and Speed passion motors with the RS Pro. In my opinion the best combination I have found in 13.5 still seems to be the Tekin 13.5 brushless motor.

I have also been using the TQ sensor wire because of the flexability of the wire.

Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the Tekin experience like I am.

I got to see the 199 software in action this past weekend. This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw it run. It really does look like it shifts gears! If it's as good at it looks there will be many screaming foul when they have to compete against an RS

The downloadable profiles are not finished yet. However you can see the teams favorite setups in pdf format. There is also a downloadable pdf file that you can save, edit, and print out on your own:

It can all be found here:

http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html

Save the pdf as a .jpeg file and you can upload it here on the forum.

It would be nice to get a 17.5 1/10th TC up there as well. Thanks for the hard work, we can't wait for 200!
