There seem to be many figures for the min timing on a DUO, 0, 8, 9 and 12 on this thread alone. Do we have something official on this?

Is the update a new Hotwire version, or just RS firmware?

Is the 194 software the stuff that's optimized for low voltage (1 cell lipo)?

At our track we run a 5.0 FDR limit in VTA for 21.5. I've run one race where the FDR limit was the normal USVTA 4.2... didn't get a lot of time to practice with different gearing but settled on a 4.7 FDR. I tried a 4.2 and it was a little hot without a fan on the motor. When I put a heat sink/fan on the temps were fine. I'm running pretty close to the timing on the motor as low as it will go and max on the boost with 189. I'll be going to the TA Nats soon so will need to work out my gearing for that race. Those running VTA what FDR ratio/ESC settings are you finding works best? Are you getting away with running a 4.2 and not heating up too much or losing punch?

194 DOES NOT have the 1s lipo profile in it. We're working on that and it too will be out soon.

This has an improved lower boost profile, better 4 cell launch and drive, along with the FXR crawler improvements, and the B1r full reverse software.

Guys also, please DO NOT PM me for the software. Email me for it as I requested. This keeps me from cutting and pasting...I know it's minor but after getting well over 100 requests in the first 2 hours it helps!

Randy, does the 194 deliver more power than the 189 for touring cars (4wd) on 5 cell?
are the settings the same as for the 189?
