No problems that I'm aware of. Been running Novak motors all season long with my RS.

This might have been adressed elsewhere, but did you have to retard the timing on the endbell of the Novak to keep it from burning itself up with the more aggressive timing/boost set up of the Tekin speedos?

Can't help you there, I run in a spec class that doesnt allow timing in the ESC. But I did run lots of timing on the motor and the temps are normally around 135 degrees.

My start is just below 3000 and the end rpm is 8000 with the Team Epic Duo2 17.5 rollout is around 77mm and the car is fast. the motor is around 140F after the 8min run

I think both you and BCbud are right on with setups that work. That's the great thing about the Tekin is each driver can do something a bit different and find a way to fit their driving style. BCbud is right that the 17.5 is tapped out on RPM by 8000. Drop your top to 6K and see what you think.

I had nothing but problems running Novak Ballistics with my RS's. Switched to Tekin Redline BL and the problems went away.

I have no problems with my ballistic series motors. I run Tekins and ballistics in just about every one of my cars.

Is 91mm a large rollout ; because that's where I ended up last night and the motor was prolly 125* at its hottest point. The speed was OKAY but I'm not at my 'happy point' yet. And as of right now I don't know what else to do Maybe just put my LRP X12 13.5 back in.....
