Maxy's
www.maxysfuel.com

I've been racing nitro for 7+ years and have tried many brands. Switched to Maxy's in 2006 and it's been the best so far.

I use Werks Racing Fuel 30% and my engines have lasted longer with much better fuel mileage than with any other fuel.

Really Good fuel that I have used:

Tornado
Byrons Gen 2 <----real good stuff!
ODonnels
Maxy's
These fuels I ran for seasons. (except gen 2. So far so great!!) I have seen many guys run Tilted and I have messed with TQ. All are good stuff.

Bad stuff:
Trinity... everything
Wild Cat. ( I know they make Trinity)
After running these fuels, I noticed rusting and excessive heat wear on my engines. They seem to run hotter also.

would this be andrew from cen?? are you sponsered by werks or is that your choice????
the reason i ask about the fuel is i have been an odonnell guy for ever its all i have ever used well this past weekend i have heard some not so good things about it....there a new guy making it and rust issues....i just picked me up a new rossi 367 and i want to do her right....with the locals at my track its a split odonnell and werks..ive heard nitrotane is not good to break in a motor, i was thinking of giving bryons a try but dont no anybody that uses it and my lhs doesnt carry it

U CANNNOT break in a motor on Race blend 30%....the lubricants Are TOO good and wont allow the P+S to properly break in...Think what u want...but i KNO how much fuel dumped through an Old STS that NEVER EVER lost an ounce of pinch After 1.5gallons of OD.....Switched it back to my original break in fuel (HPI)....VERY First tank the motor Loooosened up like it was a year old...From Then on I will NOT think about breakin in on Anything but a RTR level Oily fuel....Im making the switch to Tilted this summer for the fact i can get it Uber cheep compared to what my LHS charges for OD.

Everyone's milage is going to very with each fuel. To many variables.

O'donnell is good
Nitrotane gets great runtime
Gen 1 Byron's didn't burn clean enough for me

Default Break In Oil

The only thing I don't like about "Break In Fuel" is to much oil that turns into varnash in the block & pipe. This stuff gets pulled back in the mill after you run awile. Main thing tune by smoke and sound. Smoke ANYTIME your on the gas hard and lean in where it just starts to screem. Temps 210-240 with body on. It might not be the fastest setting but you'll have motor that will last 12-16 gal. Wanta go faster? Change the gears and tire size. Or bring LOTS of money. **Burn Nitro & Have Fun**

You can break in an engine with any fuel you please. I have run OD, Rocket Science, Sidewinder, Blue thunder, Trinity and TQ. They all performed and never caused me any trouble. I only break in motors using the fuel I intend to run. More oil is not always better. Choose the fuel that you can get locally and get on a regular basis. It seems like the more oil (RTR) fuel would take longer to break in because of the excess lubricants... Maybe my thinking is backwards....

I used 20% original Byron's before and 20% Byron's Gen2 now with good results. One of my good friends is using the 30% Gen2 and loves it.Great performance for $18.00 a gallon.
