I'd still wind it down and watch the temps first. Better safe than sorry.

Wow.... I found grunt to be its best attribute... Especially with the top end it has.

We do seem to have a real problem over here with the Gm's. The wave is fine but getting the thing spooled up is really hard when compared to the Gm which seems to fly.

Though they are doing somthing differnt compared to the wave. For example same motor at west london.

Team Wave gearing 4.2
Gm Gearing 5.6

Which software?

I have yet to run the wave against the fast guys I usually run against but it easily has more grunt and top end than my SP GT 2.0, and that was as fast as the guys running SPX. That said though I am beginning to discover that the SPX has some serious limitations.

I agree. In 10.5 I have to be very careful with my throttle coming out of slow corners. In my opinion what makes the RB so good is that it has good top end and low end!

Well in australia we don't get gm or i have never seen one anyway!! but at the moment i would say the RB is right up there if not the best!! But i beleive it is designed to also be a very smooth speedy which will enhance your cars performance in handling!! which is something that people often miss when judging a speedy!! also motor has a play in this as well!! but the rb is definately smooth which i like, keeps you in a better rhythm!! this equals faster race times to me!!

Default Team Wave with 1s

Has anybody tried this speedo with 1s LiPo yet?

I'm looking for an alternative for my World GT and the features of this sound great if they will work on the lower voltage.

i'm not sure but if you turn off lipo cut then i would assume it would work but then you would need a lipo cut to suit the lower voltage!! but possibly if they made a software upgrade to suit if the demand was there then possibly. But that is for team wave to decide!!

Not as far as I know but Indonesia is not too far from Hong Kong. If you were to order from http://teamwaveonline.com/2007/order.htm I'm sure it would be at your door very quickly.

Hi just wondering if anyone else has had problems using the RB50 with Futaba PCM...?? I cannot get the speedo to set or respond in any way...Finally used an old ppm reciever and everything set and worked fine. Love the turbo for spec racing, but wish it would work with PCM, less chance of interferance.

Thanks.

Can you get a spektrum system for your radio? This would be a better alternative.

depends on motor!! but start at the lowest ratio the motor brand recommends and then adjust settings on the speedy or gear up if it is too slow!!
