Hi,
i'v just bought a new boss b21off but when ever i fire it up it idles fine but when ever i give it a little bit of throtle it goes crazy. im useing spektrum servo's but not useing spektrum in my radio. The car only does this when it is going.

Sounds like a freq. conflict. First off have you put fresh batteries in your car and TX? Second have you tried going to a wide open area away from the public? Away from power lines, away from electrical sources of buildings and things like that? If so then I'd suggest checking your wiring. I've seen this happen. If the colored insulation of the servo wires contact anything metal they will glitch and go crazy. Pull your electronics out and look over all the wiring. Try to find bare wires showing.

i'm using an airtronics mx-3 and a novak Xxtra

i'm running it in at my house. so i don't think i could be a frequency conflicy. I always charge the car batteries and tx bateries before i give it a run. when i was puttng the servo in it had a bare wire so i put some shrink wrap around it. I'll try chageing the electrics and see if that makes any diffrence.

would i have to turn the carby around cause i have a losi 8ight and the carby looks a bit close to the brakes ?

i have another question. What way does the wheel on the starter have to spin. i think i'v got mine going the wrong way.

Clockwise. The starter box wheel needs to turn the flywheel counter-clockwise when looking from the front of the engine.

For Losi B&T the carb opens towards the radio tray. And yes, some carbs have to be adjusted slightly to clear the center diff top brace. Also make sure to let the throttle/brake servo open and close the carb in a straight line. sometimes this isn't quite possible but do your best. All 1/8 buggies and truggies have longer servo life if the electronics aren't stressed more than they have to.

i think i found the problem. I found a freyed wire on the switch.

Nice choice of engine, the boss engines are off the hook good, 40 litres out of my last one
