So whose making them? Or is Fantom taking the initiative to hand wind their own cans?

They look a lot like the trinity motors. The vent holes are exactly the same. The DUO's trinity offer are great, but either way, I'm sure the Fantom stuff is fast too

Definitely Feigao. You could probably swap rotors between all of them. I put a "Trinity" 13mm rotor in my Orion 13.5.

But again, same can, but are they winding the cans themselves? Using their own bearings? Otherwise, I really see the end of "custom" motors in sight, since every companies will be an exact copy of the others. So the sticker will be the only difference.

Yes, you can wind your own brushless cans.
