Okay guys, which compounds are working best for you for rubber tires on parking lot? Right now I'm using trinity's death grip(rubber formula) but would like to hear any comments on other brands as I haven't really experimented with others. Anyone know if trinity's red dot is stronger than their death grip.

Im using TQ mod. thats the purple can. I use this for all my rubber tires everywhere and works awesome.

I use WD40. Spray some on a rag, wipe it on the tires, leave for 5 minutes, and wipe off. It works very well for me.

i've never used anything, but think i'll give it a try, how do you aply it to your tryes? do you cover the whole tyre? or just the inside? or just the outside? do you bake it on with tyre warmers?
how many coats do you put on? do you use a paint brush?
do you put it on every time you use your car?

I coat my whole rear tire once so it is saturated, and the inside half on my front. i wipe off 3 min before the race and then go. I do ti every time before i go up top use the car.

GTMilenko, I apply it on my tires using a rag. I've never heard of baking it on using tire warmers but heck, it's worth a shot. I beleive that the more coats you apply the more effect it will have. I try to apply it at least 15 min.'s before I race.

I run on a sealed parking lot, that is, compared to regular unseald asphalt, very slippery. I use Paragon Ground Effects 2. I have raced on some very pourous unsealed asphalt using foam tires, and the Trinity Red Dot worked really well. I suspect that on unsealed pavement, the Red Dot would work great. It is very sticky, but on a somewhat slippery, dustry track, it seems to pick up debris on the tire, and limit its ability to grip.

I am curious to try some of the TQ products, or maybe Jack the Gripper...

I use JACK THE GRIPPER indoors on carpet. Our club only allows Jack the Gripper and TQ brands to keep the stink down and eyes from buring.

The Gripper is great except for the brush applicator.
