Shouldn't you be using the *smallest* 55t spur instead?
61/25 gives 6.34:1... this is by nowhere "high".
With 55/25 you'll get 5.72:1.
If you can stuff a 55/27 in, you'll get 5.3!!
Don't know too much about the P2K2; I run my torquier P2K
at 5.46:1 on a very large track. I just unwrapped a Monster
(higher RPM design?) last weekend too, on the same track
it wants 5.77:1 to keep up with the P2K. Might have to try
1t less to see if I can get more infield speed, but the Monster
isn't getting overly hot @ 5.77 - definitely cooler than the batts.
Anything higher and the Monster bogs down even more.
Square or some other Jap optionpart maker made a spurgear
holder for EvoI/II/TB01 that takes standard spur gears.
If you want to experiment with gearing, this part is very handy.
I prefer to use 48dp gears rather than Tamiya's metric AVs.

Singapore is a small country... last time I was in town I went and
visited *every* RC shop in the whole island - no joke, even got
pix of every one I went to.
Also depends what you're looking for. Most of the other shops
are specialists in only certain brands. Sam Cheng @ Far East is
another old kaki, been racing for 20+ years. Good guy to chat to,
check out his old Tamiya 280Z Nissan.... RC cars have come a long
way in the last 25 yrs!!

Ambient air temp here is about 15degC (warm winter day!) and the track surface is about 20degC. I usually let to motor get to about 60-65degC before I start worrying; batteries usually about 45-55degC.
Around about 60degC is the touch=pain level...
(Couple o' years ago, I "invested" in a IR temp gun for nitro, but its real handy for electric too!! )
Yeah...some other company...I can't remember the name of it but I heard it got burnt down earlier this year and I happen to have the spur gear holder for the F201, too. I tried to fit that with my TB EVO II but the hub is too long and need to be trim down to where the pin rests.
Yes, very "suspicious" fire in Japan factory/warehouse, so I hear.
