Hey Cunningham and Marty,

I was going through some of the pictures from ALMS and FIA GT and I saw a few cars that I think would make nice bodies and I dont know of you already had plans for these:

Maserati MC12
Porsche 997 GT3 RSR
Aston Martin DBR9
Panox Esperante GT-LM
Ferrari F430 GT
Corvette C5 (I know that the C6 is around as well)

HPI makes a C5 and at least a regular GT3. I would really like to see the MC12, DB9, and the new Nissan GT-R. A Panoz Esperante GTR-1 would be really fun as well.

Is that the C8? That would make an interesting body if someone wanted to attempt it

USA it was hard for me to find as well. I had to do it off there parts list.

They will have the following bodies:
200mm
Aston Martin DBR9

Ferrari F430GT

Ike for you:

Another good body on the way is the ARTA NSX body part #
39287.

Like I said I will test most of these bodies I will order them and make sure they
fit on the CRC BMI CLC-MLP 200mm Pan Car Chassis, and as the others comes
out we will test them as well.

C.C.

After receiving a couple PMs from Cunningham I wanted to pop on here real quick:

I want this to be a spec class but right now the only hard and fast spec rules we have are:

Chassis: Any 200mm pan car chassis
Body: Any 2 door car body (preferably GT)

Tires, Motor and Battery really cant be spec'd until we can get more feedback from more folks running these cars. As of right now only a few people have any substantive feedback about them. (and I know Jimmy is going to be doing his fair share of testing as well in the coming weeks). Does anybody else have a 200mm pan chassis that would be able to do some testing?

I think any of the Old school oval-cars can be used for road course. They should have cell cutouts on either side of the T-plate.

I know that the 10L3 oval can be set up to run road course.

Sorry ZipZap...no connections...I know you could probably find a 10L3T or other older narrow chassis around somewhere (and I know Hyperdrive had a 10th road course car on their website)

10l3t's are rare, but the 10ls's are 200mm also.

I have a couple of 10L3Ts I could do some testing with but what kind of testing would you like? They're quick and fun. Nothing else comes close except maybe 12th scale.

We've had a number of different brushless motors bandied about as possible motors for this class GM, any chance you could test one or all of those (if you got all of them) with both 4 cell and 7.4 LiPo that would be great.

That actually brings up a point which has not been mentioned in a while: Whether or not this should be a brushless only class or brushed/brushless class

I think it is one of the most beautiful exotic car on the LMS and yes Ike, it burns road like hot cake. All in all, they managed to qualify for "Le Mans" at the "Castellet" race track...
