Hey guys

not sure if this is the right section to post it in but I have a problem ....

hey guys ...

I have bought the USB VRC RC Car Model Simulator

but the problem is I can only control one channel!!! it has two connectors, but only one connector has three wires to carry the signal. The other three pin connector has only one wire??!!! is this correct? I tried every possible combination but no luck.

When I go to calibrate scree, no matter how I connect the 3 pin connector that has one wire, it does not work.

The car obviously needs two channels, one for steering and the other one for throttle and break. How am I supposed to control it with one channel only ????

Can someone explain what am I doing wrong or if this usb vrc is one channel only ??? why would they even make one channel ???

the single wire is the signal, the other 2 wires should be the positive and negative. you probably just need to flip the single wire (turn 180 degrees)

very strange ....

it does not work with my Spektrum but does with a cheap yumcha analogue one

As said, the single wire is signal, and should be aligned with white wire in the other plug. Positive and negative powers are all connected together in the Rx anyway, so they don't need to be transferred with every signal.

How realistic is that. i have thought about buying one. Does it feel like a real on road car? Will it help you improve your real race driving skills or is it just for fun?

download the free version with the simple track and give it a go ... u can see for yourself.

I wouls say that its definitelly better than just some simple RC car simulator.

Its quite detailed in terms of what can be set up on each car and the driving feel very realistic.

I think it can help your driving skills for sure, especially a new like me. It certainly helped me learn the track well.

If you do not have adaptor, you can use the keyboard... Some of the racers have got very good with the keyboard, I just could not figure it out...

But VRC is very good... you do not break parts, and you get need track time when you can't make it to the real thing... Bottom line, the real thing is the best, but this simulator is the next best thing... No this is not a game...

It all depends on your current level... if you are startring, yes, it will help a lot...
