just get this one from schumacher and take off the carbon fiber going across and the lipos fit just fine and they are only $7.99

Actually the best solution from a consumers standpoint would be a combo that did the weight to the chassis and something that held the battery in so that you only had to purchase one weight set. Like if this had the carbon double high so that Verndogs solution would fit in there and there was still a lip to hold the pack in.

Also, there would not be enough room for both the carbon riser and a weight plate to clear the bulheads, and you could never make it tall enough to accomidate both.

True.... But there is not enough room under bulkheads to gain all the weight required to balance the car back. Not on TC5 or any other chassis I've come across. So...your still stuck with weighting the chassis or the battery to make the difference.
