has anyone took the heatsink off of the lrp tc spec esc.

want to use it in the b4...

The heatsink is bonded right to the FET's.....

Its possible, but NOT recommended......

Agreed 100%

But I mistakenly hit mine falling out of a chair and its "heat caulked" to the fet's

But I would remove it if I were you.

I have that same esc in my B4 with the stock body

the fan is about 1/2 covered by the sidepod, but 1/2 open to the taller center section of the body

on the low side pods, it's pretty much top of fan touching the body, but it's not preventing the body from sitting as low as it needs to be.

just buy the regular sphere that comes without the heatsink
