If your trying to rush the break-in, good luck. The Axe Rossi P/S sets take about 1 gallon to free up and stop locking up. As for factory break-in settings, there really are none. You'll have to tune the needles with a high idle and check the temps. The HSN and LSN will be different for the temperature and fuel you use.

I found the factory needled setting on my X1 to be a little lean (for me) for the break in. I fatten my HSN way up and slowly leaned it out as I would run each tanks there mine. Mine took at least 1 gallon before I couldn't feel metal to metal friction between the P/S.

But like ezveedub said, it will take 1-1.5 gallons to fully break in. If you rush it you will greatly reduce the life of a very nice race motor.

I just switched over to the new Bryon's Gen2 fuel, and raced it yesterday. I had to lean the (HSN) 6 hours, and my X1 ran Crazy
fast! After running in the 20 minute A-Main,(Finished 2nd) it temp'ed
at 220. (Usually in the 230-240's) Pitted @ 8.5 minutes, and could of
probably made 9-9.5 if need to push it that long. So your needled setting will very depending of the manufactor of nitro you use.
