Default Brushless Drag Brake Setting

Hey All,
What has everyone found to be the drag brake setting the most resembles the natral drag brake of a brushed motor? This is for the 4 cell Novak GTB in a 1/12 scale.
Thanks,
Kane

I was actually wondering the same question. I "heard" that with the brushless motor you will not get the same amount of drag brake even at its maximum setting as a brushed motor. Is this true.

or8ital- Make it a novak 13.5 sinistered rotor. And the answer is....

My understanding is the strongre the magnet (sintered) and larger the rotor the more it will feel like brushed. On my lrp I keep it at 2 or 3 and it isnt quite as strong as a brushed motor. If you go much above that though the motor seems to get hotter. I know that doesnt completely answer the question but its the best I can do (plus I drive a TC). I only asked those question b/c that will be what is asked by those that know the answer since they have an effect

It is a 12.3mm sintered rotor in a 4.5 Light. I may try the 13mm rotor as well.
