I am using a Novak 13.5 with my RS Pro and a Thunder Power 3.7 40C. I am geared 37 pinion and 94 spur with 2.04 tires. I backed off the timing on the motor one notch and put in 15 degrees of boost thinking it may give me more punch and it seems to work. I am running Max Turbo with a .5 delay and 43 Drag Brake. The Turbo is coming in 1/4 of the way into the straightaway as we have a sweeper into the straight now and you can carry some speed into it. The end of the straight has a chicane and the drag brake rotates the car around pretty smoothly if I back off about seven to eight feet from the end.
I am staying with the 2S 21.5 guys for now but they are not using boosting type speed controls.

Mounting the ESC in the center allows for faster weight transfer on carpet. Whereas, on most asphalt tracks, I am typically looking for more weight transfer; so, the ESC is often placed to one side with the other electronics to the other side.

I use an Associated Blue (17#) or an Purple (30#).
Usually have the Blue for asphalt (smooth) and Purple for carpet (smooth).

Fron Ride Height adjustment
Hi,
AFAIK there is Calandra Ride Height Spacers at 3, 4 and 5mm. And there is Calandra Precision Front Ride Height Adjusters. Is it all options for front? Is there any other methods to adjust front height? For rear I know there is IRS Ride Height Adjusters. Maybe something with similar steps is for front?

Pinions
HI,
One more question. I am beginner at WGT so be patient with me :-)
I have CRC Gen X 10, 64P 100T Spur Gear, 58mm size Jaco 2100 and 2110 tires, 2S LiPo 4000 30C, carpet high grip track with ~25m straight, Tekin RS Pro with Speed Passion V3 17.5 motor, Protoform Sophia #1502 body, total ~1100g weight. Added some weight for left to right balance. Second machine all same only with ESC Speed Passion GT LPF Brushless ESC Version 2.0. What pinions I have to get to start?

i like the look of that chassis, but the one thing i'd really like to see is the ability to bolt the suspension in the front directly to the chassis without the added width plates.. they are just one more point of failure and the extra weight only slows the front end turn-in.. might have to pick one up regardless..

?? added width plates?? the McKune chasis is a direct "bolt on" upgrade to the stock CRC chasis.

I think he's saying he would prefer to have the chassis with the mounting holes in it; ie, widened in the front to eliminate the plate with the three mounting positions for wheelbase length.
