I have tried it with questionable results. Others swear by it to extend the duration their traction compound is good during a run.

Should be called a lylac tire. Not sure that xceed actually makes a marked spec tire that can be teched. Only known mounted spec tires are CRC/BSR brand with the blue band at the center circumference of the tire.

Paragon (black can) if allowed.

Use Dumper's (Brian Wynn's) setup for high traction carpet.

Long upper arms are not needed for medium/low traction carpet.

I'm using one.

One other question, I heard from a couple of people that using the two motor plates and full top box plate is more for mod racing and will cause you to lose speed when running stock. Does that statement hold any water?

Little extra pod weight - yes
More rigid pod - yes
More axle drag - no

Can't see how it can lose speed, else they mean quickness over a lap?

I can't either but I figured I'd ask first. I just got my plate in today so I am going to get it installed with the plate and give it a shot next raceday. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree that it may be slight overkill on strength; but, I broke my Rear Bottom Pod Plate at this year's Carpet Nats while using the Micro Left Pod Plate. And have seen others suffer the same damage. So...

The easy solution to grip roll/traction rolling is to lessen the front camber until it subsides. The amount of front camber will vary according to the available traction. It is a never ending adjustment towards achieving maximum cornering speed.

Can someone give me a good starting gear ratio for 13.5 non boost for my Gen X LE? Running a pretty small carpet track, laptimes in the mid 9 second range. And please, I don't want the rollout, just the straight pinion to spur ration. Thanks!

Please provide your rear tire size and make/model of motor to get the best possible answer(s).
