Here is a picture showing the skins and our new flamed wrap. I think its a sweet makeover for our packs. What do you all think?

So from the picture you posted the skin covers 3 sides of the lipo and one end? Will this meet the ROAR requirements? I hope so as I'm a big fan of your batteries.

Good Question. When we build them into the packs, we cover all sides so its covered under the roar rules. However, with the detachable skin it may or not be covered under the rules. We will send them in so that ROAR can make the call. I think as long as the chassis is covered on the bottom, it should be considered "surrounded". Worst case scenairo, you could use two of the skins to completely cover all sides. They actually fit together pretty well that way. Cross your fingers

I personally think that the clear detachable cover is the safest option since you can see what is happening in the pack through the cover. If it swells or starts to short out where the shrink wrap melts, you would know it right away. Bottom line is that ROAR will make the decision and we respect that decision either way.

We offer both 4mm and 6mm bullet connectors as options on our packs now.

you guys are amazing! I remember when you guys were first entering li-po for cars i bought 3 packs. They were at the the time, and currently to my knowledge, the ONLY li-po's that will fit into the T2 '007 without modification.

Im using the 18mm tall 5000mAh packs.

On top of all that, maxamps sent me a HAND-WRITTEN letter to my home after my purchase as a thank you. That is a business I will continue to do business with and see to it my freinds, and fellow racers will do the same.

Hey John,

I have a plain old T2, I will check and see how it fits and maybe post a pic for you. I think the top deck on your 007 will be a little lower but I'll put the pack in and we can see. I'll try to help ya out brother. BTW I have the 5000 mah 7.4 pack.
