1. Used to it
2. Some ppl think fiat 500 = girl's car/looks like egg.
3. Already have many swifts.
Just my 2 cents

I notice no difference with them. I put on the Swift wing on the Fiat 500...
But the Abarth 500 is a little more fragile than the standard one.
Strongest Tamiya body is by far the Suzuki Swift, takes a hell of a beating..
Just ordered a couple of Colt Abath 500 for test and a couple of Tamiya Reanult Alpine's. Will use it on M06Pro when it's released.
Mine does not look like a girls car, i think...

Consensus of the MWB runners at the Tamiya USA track seems to be the Swift. The complaint with the other bodies is they have too much steering. I run the LWB car and prefer the BMW body. It took a lot of work to make the Alfa body work.
Would this battery be good enough for M05
Another newbie question,
Would this battery (link below) be good enough for M05. I'm new to this hobby and this would be my first car.

Do you mean Alfa Rome MiTo? Thats the body I was planning on getting but based on what you are saying, I might have to reconsider my options.

If you are allowed to use non Tamoya bodies then the best medium body by far is the Ride Subaru ... far better handling all round

It might be just fine on another track, but at the Tamiya track in Aliso Viejo, CA that's what we experienced. Either it has a ton of steering or it makes the car loose. It was difficult to get the rear of the car manageable. It can be done, but the set up is way different.

They are now with free shipping from rcmart on ebay.
Go for lipos as they are better and more powerful than nimh and fit is great on M05!

That's the one. IMO the best body for a LWB Mini. The 2006 Mini Cooper S seems to work just like the older body.
The Alfa Mito is fine once you figure out the set up. Am planning on trying a BMW Mini body on the Alfa set up and see which works better. The Alfa body sure didn't like the BMW setup.
