Limited airbrush time nowadays, maybe 1 or 2 shells a month at the most, if that. But 30+ years with one in my hand I suppose helps a bit.
I've got a long way to go before I'm at Cristians level though!

Big up yourself. I figured out the shocks i got on my recent acquisition are actually these 3 racing shocks and not trf ones. And I think ive got the servo horn i needed in a ebay package I received today. Might have to print out a couple of needed pages of the manual and grab that one of you at the next Nemcc meet. Cheers, Benzaah

Ive got a couple of queries hopefully someone can help me out with. Ive got 3 Intellect 4600Mah stick packs atm and don't really want to spend any more cash on Nimh cells. I don't have the cash to splash out on new Lipo's yet either but down the track I think I will make the switch especially now the Yeah packs are available to suit the M03. I should have been more patient but I don't think many people could have foreseen how cheap some of these lipo packs would become. Anyway...
With these high voltage Nimh cells, I figure if the current drain is under 1500 Mah for one qualifier that I could get 2, possibly 3 qualifier's out of one 4600Mah pack? I would then have a fresh pack for the races and recharge the initial pack for the 3rd race. Obviously running 2 races on one pack would be a bit risky but shelling out another $55 for each extra pack isn't on my radar atm.
Also, do I need to worry about discharging my stick packs before i charge them back up? Will this shorten the life of the packs considerably? Is discharging absolutely necessary? Or can i just top them up after a single qualifier? Obviously I'm not worried about durability as the packs will be replaced in under 6 months time and if they get trashed this way then so be it. Or would it be worth my while picking up something like this Muchmore stick pack equalizer of ebay for around $50 as no one locally seems to know anything about them?
Advice would be appreciated. Cheers Benzaah

Hmmm, I ran ONE 4600 pack all weekend at the Vic Titles recently. They can EASILY do 2 qualifiers, no problem at all.
And after the second run I just charged the thing up again straight away and used it again. I even loaned it to someone else to use as well! (The guy who finished 3rd)
And thats what I do with all my packs. And they still work fine.
Yeah a discharge at the start of the day is a good idea, but I certainly wouldn't bother too much with anything else during the day. Don't stress about it too much.
And Danny....your answer is below!

Mark, in the (limited) testing we've done on Ozite, slicks dont work too well... So the Powers might not be the way to go on that surface. Although they're worth a try I suppose?
We favour S grip 60D front and M grip 60D rear. Or even the standard kit tyres work quite well..
And we run same springs as we normally do - blue rear, yellow front.
