Which inserts will fit a 60D tyre best? I prefer a hard insert, because I think the standard Tamiya inserts are too soft...

I read about cutting a touring insert down to Mini size, but is that for a 50D tyre or for a 60D tyre?

Gr,
Mike

Yes ... there was C-Hubs for TL-01 with some 2 degree of caster, I still have it. It was made by TAMIYA p/n 53226 ... actually it's for TA-02 .. Unfortunately it's discontinued... you might try on ebay or somewhere else....

I use mine on my M03 and make the car quite agile .....

Yep, it doesn't mentioned but I know by seeing it ....
The pic is correct... here I give you mine...

I also send you the back side of the cover ....
I suggest you to buy also 850 ball bearing, 'cause it only includes metal bushing

oh yeah that's a nice caster angle !!, ta01 and ta02 already have caster cause the whole arm is angled , but tl01 and minis dont so i think this part will make the high speed steering feel better

If you use it for TL-01, please consider the Long Suspension arm (p/n 53467). I think it's better than this option part ... The C-hub also has angled caster, only it's not alum like this one.... That's why I only use it for my M03 .... ( I still have my fully mod TL-01, too) ...

akuhon,

nice body! can i ask where i can order one (if online, could you post a link)? i could also see that you got a no rules m03 under the body (foam tires & modified bumper, i think), could you also post a photo of the chasis? im interested coz we're having an unlimited m chasis race in a month. still have to tinker a lot if that pushes through.

Hi, can you use #53226 on M03M. I think i have to change knuckles too, right?

Also, can you reverse C-hubs to get positive or negative caster?

caster is only in one side, i dont know if it is positive or negative , i think it is not called neither those, just "N degrees of caster", from 0 to positive values

If many of you like this body I would suggest you write to Tamiya USA and JPN and let them know. They never (or limited) released it here in the states because at the time we did not have the Fit available. Now that we do though if there is a demand maybe they would be swayed to fire up the mold and update the licensing agreement to make more body kits. They have done this before with other units but the customer must contact them directly to make the biggest impact.

It's called positive or negative but you never use negative . You just use more or less positive caster.

Can you tell me if #53226 will fit MO3M?

thanks
