Default all about OFNA speed 9.5

Salutations Earthlings!
this thread is for all the OFNA speed9.5 drivers.
if you have pics, setups, tips or mods to share, this is the place!

i have recently purchased a Speed9.5 pro, wow , it was a blast!
i modded it with the following :
-alloy front n rear shock towers <i chucked the graphite towers, not half durable enuff, IMHO>
-rubba booties on all CVDs <there are 6!>
-picco XP21 buggy-pro
i must say the quality of the plastics is pretty good considering the amount of thrashing i put the car through...
i cartwheel more then anything else....
what i AM looking for are titanium turnbuckles and hinge pins for the speed95, if anyone knows where i can find these, please do let me know.

Default

I put lunsford 7.5 titanium tunbukles and hinge pins on mine. For tips on the 9.5 pro go to ofna.com and under the 9.5 forum you will find jammin products, they specialize in the 9.5

Default not just yet but i've seen ....

Salutations Earthlings!
my car has held up quite well, in spite of all the cartwheeling and flipping i've done.
however, i've seen turnbuckles get bent , shock shafts and hinge pins get mangled with similar abuse.
difference is that i have a 95pro , other car was a 95mbx<using c-hubs>
i noticed that my hingepins and turnbuckles are colored black whereas the 95MBX hingepins and turnbuckles are silver colored...
different materials maybe?
i don't see ofna listing the turnbuckles and hingepins as mods for the 95pro, so i assume there are the same.
i just don't want a day cut short.
the car IS quite durable<the pro at least>
i've lost a few e clips, but thats it.

Default its not quite the same.

Salutations earthlings!
the MBX comes with both c-hub and PBS suspension, spoke wheels, self tapping screws, orange anodised aluminuim parts
the pro comes with c- hub suspension only, centre torsen, graphite parts all round, dish wheels, machine screws and blue anodised alumnium parts.
i'll just keep running the car till stuff drop off, i guess.
then i'll know how tuff it really is.
it seems that the speed 95 isn't so popular in the states compared to hyper7, i wonder why......

not really for sure why you dont see many 9.5's at the track, correct me if im wrong but I was under the impression the 9.5 was to be ofnas flagship car, thats why i bought one, aslo my pro didnt come with a center torsen diff, but it was supposed to come with the piviot ball style front end and didnt.

Default thats really strange, INNIT?

Salutations Earthlings!
thats weird, okay, i live in singapore and my LHS gets the kits straight from hong nor in taiwan.
so maybe the kit contents may vary slightly
i have found the 95's in stock trim to be excellent jumpers, just nail the throttle till the base of the ramp and let go.
the buggy jumps very naturally.
