Will the shock towers for the MBX5-R fit the regular Mugen Prospec and the MBX5-R longer shocks fit the Mugen Prospec? Also can you feel much of a difference?

The shock towers and shocks will fit, have a look at the link FrankBlack gave you and you will see all the parts you need to do the conversion also you have to do a little dremilling on the chassis for the front arms . IMO you do need to do the conversion , not just the shocks/towers and if you have had some time with your X5 you will notice the difference of the 5R.....

cheers paul....
