hey guys. can someone help me with cleaning my new truck? im not too sure how to do it or what parts can get wet.

if somone could describe a technique it would be much appreciated

someone suggested to me a product called "Shellite" i think it is. Iam quite new and dunno if that's right. for my truck i originally sprayed it (rear and front, everything except servo/gearbox/engine) in crc, bad mistake. it cleaned it all nicely, and lubricated it, but as soon as i got back on the track even more dirt clung to it. really bad stuff.

so without further direction i took eveything apart, grabbed a toothbrush and an air compressor and took apart the whole machine and scrubbed everypart with really lightly soapy water, and blew air to water sensitive parts. might be a long way around it, but it worked no hassle, plus taught me what went into me car, since it wasn't a kit car.

WD-40 makes every thing look new and doesn't hurt anything.
Wipe it on and wipe it off. If dirt/dust stick to that, you didn't wipe it off well enough. Toothbrush, paintbrushes, Q tips, rags, papertowels.
Great for detailing and it WILL look like new.
Bearings and hinge pins still need to be removed now and then to keep them like new.
Now get to work!

I use WD-40 and tooth brushless and old paint brush too. Works real well.
