Electric sucks
#32
Just to get this thread back into perspective:
At our track this summer, one of the guys ran his electric with us in the nitro mains. It was a 1/2 hour race and he came in second.
He pitted once (using lipo and getting 15min from a pack) and changed a pack. He made a quick change system that made his pit about 30 seconds.
Since then, the electric guys with brushless are welcomed to race with the nitro guys. I still like nitro better but the electric is less of a hassle and they are just as fast.

WOW, I remember when I was young building my first TAMIYA car that was 20 years ago, now I run Nitro and EP They are both great, no reason to bash one another's Class or preferred type of car whether nitro or EP. I think these young guns don't understand to true spirit or reason why we are in this HOBBY. And i think we all need to grow up nitro or EP there both Toys as mw wife would say LOL.......

i race the 720+ nt1, depends on tracks, nt1 4 big open tracks, 720 4 small to medium tracks, BTW i also race the 007, i just prefer nitro, because i hate getting beat bye guys, that have battery packs that i cannot buy, by that i mean, i can afford whatever they have but its hard to compete with someone who gets packs with WAY BETTER numbers that i do, and it would b impossible for someone other than a sponsored driver to get those same packs!!!

At our track we did a 30min main together with nitro and electric. And guess who one the race and put the most lap ELECTRIC 3.5 brushless and maxamps 8000mah Lipo I don't have to stop, Not like gas cars they have to fuel they are too worried they might not finish the race.............
All the best driver in the world prefer racing Electric Hmmmmm... Let say Masami Hirosaka I guess his the best damn driver in the world and his an electric guy. Let's name a few more Andy Moore, Atushi Hara, Marc Rheinard
