A little off topic here, but where can I find the rules for the RCGT class that is going to be run during the USVTA NATS? I understand that the Mini Cooper class will be TCS rules. Is that correct?

Pretty much the same everywhere, black or white and gunmetal wheels are the cheapest, just a little more for chrome and matte chrome. Expect to spend just a little over $40 for a set mounted on the cheaper wheels.

eBay is pretty good, but you will still spend around $35-$40.

Are there any chances you would allow 4600-5000 mah NIMH batteries? I'm not ready nor can afford Lipos or that gear now.

Just received approval to make the USVTA logo decals.

$7 per sheet, sizes noted. Custom sizes available upon request.

Also, check out : http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...am-decals.html for more VTA decals.

If interested, send me an e-mail @ [email protected]

Thanks.

Cool,
Are those sizes posted comparable to this?

Could you possibly make a few this size on that sheet?

I was thinking of decals more on this size as well as the larger ones..

Thanks again,
Lynn

The sheet would be about the size on the #4 car.

If you give me the size your looking for, I can create to your specifications.

What ever is posted on the first page of this thread... I guess these are the "general" VTA rules specs...
Battery Specifications:
2 cell ROAR-approved LiPo hard cased, 5000 mAh limit

So I was just wondering if 4600-5000 MAH NIMH batteries would/could be allowed for those who can't afford to jump into LIPO's and all it takes for them at the moment.

OK, cool!
Sounds good, I wouldn't mind making a Pace car style car like the white one for my TA02 chassis, I just have to decide what body to use and I can figure out what size I'd need.

the USVTA Camaro has stickers that came from the same sheet...large and small was on it...thats the sheet we have...

if you have a 4600-5000 lipo its legal....you cant run anything over 5000..

C, the sheet looks good...Ill email you, I need some for the race in March for prizes...

for a 'national' event, like the one the beginning of april - you need to follow the rules as listed on the site...but for your local racing, that's up to the race director...if you're trying to make the class appealing for other guys - then allow them, but put a time limit on how long you can run nimh batteries so eventually you'll get everyone on the 'full rules'

at my track, we still run the rules pre-Sept 2010 - with the 21.5 and the gearing restrictions there...but since I'm planning on making the Scale Nationals in April, I had to purchase a 25.5 motor (and inner body) so I can run that event..

but honestly, there's nothing to stop you from modifying the rules at your local track to fit the racers (and their mentalities) there...Just be prepared that if you'd ever decide to make a 'sanctioned' event (like the nationals), you'll need to conform to the official rules

hey carl - just to let you know, the link you posted is bad

I've seen your stuff before (and bought some I believe), so I know you do good work, but figured others might try and find your work the 'easy' way
