MUSIC CITY CHAMPIONSHIP 2009(MCC 09')
I would like to welcome ALL TRANS-AM RACERS to one of the, if not the largest TA races in the country. We plan on setting a new bar for outdoor TA racing on asphalt. This year we hope to surpass last years event in every way.
The MCC 09' is our premier on-road race of the year. It sets the tone for the indoor season and ULTIMATE bragging rights as well as some of the best trophies around. Ive been told that believe it or not some guys who dont care about trophies, would love to have one of these.....Dirla will testify to that.
But its not all about trophies. We have FREE food for the racers and any racers travelling gets discounted, some even FREE...free food and racing, nice day of fun. We will also have the best competition anywhere looking to claim top prize.
Also instead of only one champion, our race is designed to all divisions of skill level. There will be 28 awards presented at the MCC. 1st-3rd in Expert TA, Sportsman TA and TC. 1st-5th in Jr. TA. 1st-3rd for points series champions (TA, TC & JR). Hi everyone,
A couple of questions about HPI Vintage TA bodies:
Do you have a preference based solely on whether a body is a one piece body (68 Camaro) or a two piece body (Mustang and Cuda)?
What would you like to see in future bodies?
a. Same level of performance and detail/realism as the current bodies
b. More realistic details even at the cost of performance
c. More performance at the cost of realistic details
Would Lexan light buckets be a welcome addition to the bodies?
Thanks,
AndyH

Definitely one of the best, most fun, most excited races I've been to! Wether you were driving, pitting or marshalling... you didn't stop for 3hours/500 laps. If we hadn't have had the mechincal issues it would have been a closer battle for 1st but still super close for suck a long race. The normal race format will seem so boring now! If you guys get a chance to race or put one of these enduros on...Do it!
Battman and Dirla did a great job thinkin it all out/planning! thanks to mark for the 3 hours of announcing & jrs/henslo for the techn...and all the rest. Great job.
I have some pics but need to resize them some...stay tuned.
Here's one pic not too big to post: concourse

I am Honored sir. Everyone at the Cashville Enduro seemed to like it. It was only thirty something grams heavier than the current production shell. Painted and everything. It seemed much beefier in the nose which they all split there if you hit em enough times, but this one will hold up.

I was just thinking that if you used a Novak Ballistic system you could swap the 21.5 and a 17.5 and use essentially the same car for VTA and RCGT. Except for that pesky wing.
