Thumbs up Nice Facility..

Track is simply AWESOME. I have the 'bug'.

I will be out for practice (when the dates/time/info is firmed up) to give it a shot with my SLASH.. But I think we may have trouble getting 'forward-bite' out of these kit tires.. This is definitely a BowTie, CrimeFighter, BowFighter type of surface..

There were 2 of them running Saturday night. They looked really good on the track. Maybe a little slow, but that can always be fixed. One of them even cleared the big double. I didn't look at the trucks in the pits. Are the tires around the same size as 1/8th scale tires. That would help a bunch. But, it would be cool to keep them as a spec type of class. I wonder if those bodies would fit an 1/8th scale chassis/car. Doesn't look like it, but that would be cool also.

Just run your truck. The track is there. Looks like a lot of fun.

Anybody see mains results? No results posted after mains line up at the track saturday.I see they updated the ARC site today but home page only no results page.

Had a great time though & not as rusty as I thought I'd be after a long time off. How bout those chilli chese dogsthose were a killer midnight snack, hope snack bar is open every day the track is.

Ya know those misters they got all over patios in palm springs?Ya think we could hang'em by the lights & run RAID through them?

Does the new houres of opp they posted start this wed for sure or is that the eventual times a few weeks from now, I cant wait to get back out there.

The tires are 'unique' to the SLASH.. Smaller diameter than 1/8 Buggy and Crawler Tires... Bigger diameter than normal 1/10 scale truck tires.. Narrower than all other off-road tires..

I think we will be fine with the kit tires in the cool/damp track conditions.. Will be sketchy when it's dry..

Anywhoo.. I will be out there this saturday with my SLASH.. Come one, come all.....
