i want to annouce two things.

1) RCinPRC now already have a REAL club in SHANGHAI. RCinPRC name was taken by our EXPATRIATES in Shanghai who combined their effort to make RC scene in shanghai among expats (and locals) flourish.
Previously known as SHANGHAI RC CLUB (for a moment), after
discussion, and from my willingness giving CHUCK (now the club
leader) this group's name to be the new club's name. And with the help of BRIAN RCinPRC also right now have a REAL website that will be manage by BRIAN (as webmaster), CHUCK, MOP and few others that will be appointed. You can go to www.rcinprc.com to see the initial stage of our website. The website will be develop from time to time as it is forever will be on on-going-development stages.

ALL MEMBERS or member-will-be are welcome to REGISTER in the new www.RCinPRC.com and elligible to have certain website privilege. but bear in mind as we will update the website from now on to make it a better and USERFRIENDLY website.

2) Tomorrow we will have a FLY DAY in the newly found AIRFIELD!!!(but i am driving my BUGGY!!!!) some of us expats are going to the AIRFIELD with our PLANES, HELOS and off course BUGGY!!!! how to go there?

Directions from Puxi are:

1. drive onto the ring road
2. across the river by Nan Pu Bridge
3. go straight down along Long Yang Rd.
4. turn right at Zhang Jiang Rd.(turn when past Tomson Golf)
5. go straight down along Zhang Jiang Rd to Sun Qiao Rd ( NO TURN, just down straight)
6. Turn Right at Zong Lv Rd then another right turn to Qin Zheng Rd. (these two roads are pretty small)
7. Look for small planes & helos.

i did something bad last SUNDAY during my RC RUN in pudong science center.

morning i went to the airfield.
afternoon i went to science center to continue the buggy run.

there i met MARIO, an italian guy. He brought T-MAXX and also a 1/8th Scale MANTUA GOLD EVO4 on-road car.

we played off-road and on-road.

he let me try his MANTUA EVO4.

full throttle long straight and suddently LOST TRANSMISSION, hit the brake, nothing happened!!!! the MANTUA EVO4 run straight in FULL THROTTLE towards the pond!!!! then it became SUB-MARINE!!!!! shucks.... sorry MARIO! luckily mario said he noticed the car twitches before it lost its transmission with the radio. he realised that the battery pack low....

moral of story:
please check your battery pack power before you lend your car to somebody else!!! heheheheh....

... happened to me once....a friend borrowed me his hyper7... after a ramp....it jumped and fliped over and right side up.... the buggy just went blasting foward.... "no brakes" .... wat happened...!?? ... apparently after the jump.. the batt came loose was disconnected... from the buggy... went almost hit the Highway.... but lucky... there's a drain... it just jump into the drain... and stay there..... luckily... no water in the drain..... hahaha.... .....moral of the story check batt/and connection... apparently my friend didn't cable tide the batts..just left it hanging....

For those not on the mailing list or not familiar with our RC club & it's new website, www.RCinPRC.com...

We're having our very first FORMAL meeting this coming Sunday, 3 April, at our informal clubhouse HOOters!

We're start gathering at 1600 over beers for a chance to greet & get to know our long awaited charter member, Andrea, who arrives the day prior from Italy.

We'll begin what will purportedly be a formal meeting at 1730 once everyone shows up.

We have 35 members currently registered on the website & I know of 10 more that expressed interest in joining, so I'm expecting a good crowd. Feel free to spread the word, forward this email & invite / bring / drag anyone who you know may have interest in joining with us. The more the merrier!!
