Novak GTB vs. LRP Sphere TC-Spec

I've run them both quite a bit, and prefer the feel the LRP. It seems to have smoother power delivery and braking. I can't say it's made me any faster, but it does feel more comfortable. The flat side on the case also makes mounting it on its side (in a Type-R) a lot more reasonable, but that's a pretty specific need.
Now... Novak. I know orange and purple is their thing, but it's so damn ugly I can't stand to look at it anymore. Make an ESC with a black case and some carbon fiber stickers, and make it look fast. The colors are a travesty.
I think Novak makes the best motors, though. They too lack style, but the quality of their rotors is hard to beat.

I bought the LRP TC Spec, loved the performance, but after 5 packs if developed a bad issue that made it completely useless. Bought a GTB to replace it, worked perfectly ever since. I personally think the LRP software was smoother and more punch then the Novak, but if it doesn't work it doesn't matter.

You got it!! buy an import! LOL hang on they are both imports buy both!
Im on the fence for brushless.... Im waiting for them to get smaller ESC......
Is the huge foot print of these units because they are multiperpose? Could they make a Brushless only ESC and make the smaller? I dont even recall ESC being this big back in the 80s and 90s

I'm curious to see if Novak's Mamba^H^H^H^H^H Mongoose system can run 13.5's even though it's designed for smaller motors.

Novak's customer support is second to none and you get FLAT RATE upfront repairs on none warranty repairs ,so you can figure out if is worth fixing before sending it in.
LRP says give us your Credit Card # and will will fix it for unknown $$$.
NTW I used to be all BLUE untill I got a taste of the Orange's
