Default Building an off-road track... plans or ideas?

I've been working on building a track, and have been unable to find any resources for plans or blueprints... I need some ideas to start construction so I don't end up with just some lame oval.

I do have a loop almost finished (Ever play Stunts?) for the track, but can't come up with anything else different or unique

Any ideas would be very welcome. I started this 2 years ago and have made NO progress.

Some simple questions to help you get started:

1) Are you building indoors or out?
2) Oval or off-road?
3) Have you been to other tracks to check out ideas?
4) How much $$$ have you got to spend?
5) Is this for you and your buddies, or do you intend to hold regular races, like a club, or is this a commercial venture?

The answers to these questions will point you in the right direction. From your post I assume this is not full-time work for you.

1) Are you building indoors or out?

Outdoors

2) Oval or off-road?

Off road

3) Have you been to other tracks to check out ideas?

There are no tracks within 3 hours of where I live; I'm in a rural area

4) How much $$$ have you got to spend?

Not so much the issue, but I can't see it costing much. It's right on my land.

5) Is this for you and your buddies, or do you intend to hold regular races, like a club, or is this a commercial venture?

Mostly just for myself; there is no one out here that has any R/C gear!

dang, sounds like you get to have all the fun to yourself, but to make your own track just make up 3 u's one straight up in the center one on the left a different direction and one on the right a different direction also. then in there somewhere wherever you would like mix it up with some jumps a double here, a triple there, and maybe a few table tops. just sketch out what you think you would like to drive around, then follow your plan, or switch it up whatever you would like. I guess I could draw all this out for u, but I think you would enjoy it more if you do it yourself. when you get bored of that layout, change it around drive the opposite direction, or whatever you would like

Default idea for my track

1) Are you building indoors or out?

out doors in my back yard

2) Oval or off-road?

OFF-ROAD!!! the ONLY type of rc cars that should race.

3) Have you been to other tracks to check out ideas?

Ive Been to capitol city rc center in sacramento, CA and they have a great off road track.

4) How much $$$ have you got to spend?

Oh lets see... ive got about $45 to spend so im just gonna get some PVC pipe, some angle couplers and a LOT of dirt and some rocks to make a rock racing course.

5) Is this for you and your buddies, or do you intend to hold regular races, like a club, or is this a commercial venture

Um.... Ive got about 30 other people in my nieghborhood and they love to race but dont like to go more then 30 minuits to race.
