Rhonda
Of corse she kicks ass at rc, i remember back in days at M and M raceway in corona the first time i saw a hot chick rolling in the 10th scale electric indoor expert class. lol.. and im suprised to still see her racing all those years (I was off of rc racing for 7 years, now back into it but 8th scale nitro offroad buggy only). I remember my old buddy Derek Lamb, but hes the one who is missing. I wonder where he is these days.

I was under the impression it was CEN cause several RC magazines still show her with a CEN tank top on and their vehicles on the page also. Like in RC Driver issue 55 July 2008 on page 27. But this is probably a yearly paid adverstisement and CEN has already paid for that to be printed for like, a years time or something.
So, up above Ronda says she'd like to thank Mugen. Then it must be Mugen, and they have a great driver in their arsenal.
Keep up the great work Ronda.

Saw this in our local thread, just thought it was funny since this thread is about one of the few women in RC.
Rhonda and Punky have something in common. Don't be mad if you think I wasted your time. View but beware!

There is a girl named Courtney that is a model for CEN. I think that is what you guys are confused about. I run for Mugen Seiki.
I love the Punky video clip and saw that episode when I was a little girl.

Zero RC Interview with Mugen's Ronda Skelton
Posted May 12th, 2008 by Travis Sewilo
Since the beginning of motor sports, every aspect of racing has been virtually male dominated. But very few women do stand out from the males. A few women come to mind- Danica Patrick in F1 racing, Dawn Creten in monster trucks, and Ronda Skelton in RC racing.
Name: Ronda Skelton
Hometown: Redlands, California
Sponsors: Mugen Seiki, Pro-line, Airtronics, Team Orion, Byron's fuel, Pyrographix Paint, Avid bearings, Upgrade, BCE racing, Promotion, and B-mod products.
Currently Racing: 1/8 bugyy, truggy, and on-road for fun.
Zero RC: How did you get started in RC?
Ronda: A family member gave me a Kyosho Raider for Christmas and the rest is history.
Zero RC: How are you preparing for the upcoming ROAR truck nats?
Ronda: When I prepare for an upcoming race event I like to prep and glue all of my tires, make sure all of my electronics are charged, and get my hair and nails done...lol
Zero RC: What is it like being a female in the sport?
Ronda: Being a female in the sport, it draws more attention to our great hobby. It can also open doors for all stereo-types of racers.
Zero RC: What is your most memorable moment in racing?
Ronda: My most memorable moment in racing was at the 2006 ROAR Truck Nats in Vegas. I was 13th qualifier for the 3rd round out of 140 drivers.
Zero RC: What do you like most about racing?
Ronda: The competition and all of the wonderful opportunitys and friends that have come my way because of racing these little toy cars.
Zero RC: What else are you doing to prepare for the season?
Ronda: Practice...Practice...Practice!
Zero RC: Who have you learned the most from since you started racing?
Ronda: I have learned the most from Adam Drake. He is a great person with so much wisdom.
Zero RC: What other hobbies do you enjoy?
Ronda: The other hobbies I enjoy are bowling and photography.
Zero RC: What else do you do in your free time?
Ronda: In my free time I like to spend time with my boyfriend, go to the movies, shopping, and etc.
Zero RC: Does Mugen have anyting in the works?
Ronda: Mugen has a new Buggy and Truggy in the works. They also have a new line of Ninja engines due out this year.
Zero RC: Anything else you would like to say...
Ronda: I would like to thank all of my sponsors and thank you zerorc. com for this interview.
I want to give Ronda a huge thanks for the interview and wish her luck through the season!
