thanks for your advice in the prior post. i'll definately look for you guys next time i'm out there.

i just fixed a broken pivot ball on the pbs and my ws7 just came in the mail. so, i'll be finishing up the x5 later this week. hopefully, i can get enough tanks through the engine and take out next sunday. heck if not, i've got my "don waller broken-in" ws72 (with only 1 gallon through it so far!) and bolt that into the x5.

anyway, thanks bro.

peace,
herb

Who else got a early production kit? I got mine literally 10 seconds after I heard the first store had them, and mine was missing a couple of peices. It came with mugshot tires (not crimefighters) was missing the wrench, all allen wrenches, and the window mask and stickers. I eventually got the stickers and some small parts, but I still havn't got my wrench. Mugen also offered to take a trade in for the mugshot tires, as long as they were brand new unmounted...

Tambok - Mugshots work at KZ? Better than Crimefighters? My friend has been racing down there lately on Saturdays and he always runs Crimefighters. I'm gonna try to go down there to race with him this Sat and was wondering what works. I have Crimefighters, Mugshots, Komodo Dragon 1s and 2s. I really like the Panther Tires. How are they for that track?

Thanks
Rod

GPed-As far as I know, none of the kits come with window masks. Pretty lame, but pretty minor, too.

Yeah, it does...I'd get one, but the MBX5 isn't going to be seeing the track for a while, so I don't see the point.

isnt that sad

my buggy also sits in my basement just waiting for the new season

the worst part for me was when i had to amputate the reciever for indoor racing

but ive got a whole bunch of nice hop-ups to put on it when the time comes

crimefighters are the universal tire they seem to work on everything except mud and everything hooks up on mud so i guess its safe to say they work everywhere and always

Not always...in the arena track we use for winter, when the track was dry, yeah, they hooked up(along with Dirty Harrys), but when the track was wet/damp, they had NO side bite whatsoever. When the track was damp, I was using Knuckles. But, yeah, Crimefighters pretty much work anywhere. I, too, had to take my poor MBX5's receiver out for winter racing, along with its throttle servo.
