hehe picking up a thunder tiger? What about when Associated comes out with a truggy? You gonna ditch the thunder tiger for that?
As for the thunder tiger which version is it I know they have a rtr version of the st-1 that's the version that was the first to come out. But they also have a pro version too.. If it's that version let me dig through some magazines I think theirs a couple of test's on it which would reveal the strong points and the weaknesses of it. I think and I could be mistaken It was pretty durable but the servos were kind of a weak point. But as I said before Ill put some better detailed info on here later when I find out more.

i've got a thunder tiger st-1 RTR version. not too much difference between it and the pro version. RTR just doesn't come with the carbon fiber shock towers, radio tray, and a couple other things that were CF. also the pro comes with some red anodized parts and i think all the rear toe blocks. i think. pros: it's a strong truggy, i've had it land on its roof from ten feet up and not break a thing, only i've really lost was a couple screws. CONS: the on/off switch could be inside the radio box but it sits on the outside, stock servos are strong but slow, stock body is very thin in some areas, and that's about it. very good truck out of the box for either the pro or RTR. very competitive on the track too. some people will tell you to get the extended wing mount because the wing mount that comes with it is used as a rear body mount. but actuall you just need to get two more body posts and put them on the rear shock tower and you can use the mount then.

Hey guys....dont hesitate to have one... its perfect for a truggy. I got the ST1 pro...with RB TM928 engine, Hitec 5955 tg Steering servo Hitec 5988 throttle servo using DX3 spektrum...its so nice on the track. Lightweight, durable, no need to upgrade more except the tires. TM928 is to much for it... so Iwent back to emaxx picco .21 modified...I love this car....cornering and exit to corners so smooth....
