Default Best TC indoor rubber tyre

Guys, need you advice.
Can I have your opinion on the best indoor tyre (not a minipin/foam or rally tyre) for racing on primafelt GT carpet 1/10 tc?
thanks

I was thinking of the schumacher carpet dragon?

Carpet dragon was good in it's day, but it's time has passed.

In the UK the 2 most popular indoor tyres on carpet are the Sorex 24R or the VTC 24's.

I find the Sorex both quicker and more durabel than the VTEC, but both last for ages. Easily get 20 runs from a set.

There isnt a best tyre choice for racing on carpet (prima felt gt), but you can't go wrong with LRP/NOSRAM VTEC 24/27R'S

Sorex 28 with JB inserts on JB rims thats a safe combination

LRP/Nosram have to much "corner grip" if there is a high trackition carpet and the car will tracktion roll, if so use CA glue on tire walls

The benefit with JB inserts ar that they are light under 10gr on 4 wheels

Anyone feel that Dragons are still a quick tyre if there is no additive allowed?

This seemed to be the case at one of the local clubs when they ran carpet for a little while, no additive was allowed at all so the carpet was green. I was off the pace when running CS22s or Much-More 32's, though I hadn't yet tried the LRP/Nosram tyres.

It depends if you have to use pre-glued or not. If you can use your own insert the JB foam with the yellow inside and blue outside with sorex 24's were the best I ever ran, this was in stock though so they may overheat in anything faster. If running pre-glued then I think vtec 24 in stock or vtec 27/ muchmore 32 in mod.

Ive been running in 5 cell brushless with vtec 27 for the last few weeks and have some muchmore 32's to try if they ever arrive in the post
