For the kyosho drivers, what clutch bell are you using the bell with the 008 2 speed or the kyovS058 gear type bell
If so what are the stock gears? Teeth?
The 008 gear teeth? And what gears for the 2 gear type for both?

The inner bearing is a 5x12x4, outer is a standard 5x10
The 2 most common pinion combinations are 15/19 and 16/20 all pinions suggested here are from the Evolva. The CB is from the FW-06
15t First Gear KYOFM540-15
16t First Gear KYOFM540-16
19t Second Gear KYOFM541-19
20t Second Gear KYOFM541-20
There are other options but the over sized bearing with this method makes the most sence.
Jay if you want to keep useing the CB I saw you with on Saturday get yourself a 5x8 Flanged bearing for the inner instead of that barrel bearing.

Because it is a flat chassis car. But so is the DM1, and for those who claim the DM1 has kick up in the diff. You'd have to prove it to me, I've inspected a couple at our club races and it's straight up flat. So I dunno why the DM1 can be grandfathered in but the Team C car can't be run because it's new.

We run the Team C cars here, and there is no reason to have it illegal anywhere. It's another great option for the GT8 class.

The New Kyosho Inferno GT2 2-Shoe 2-Speed Racing Transmission Set comes with a 15T/46T first gear combo and a 19T/43T second gear combo. I have also heard but not seen that others had a 18t for second gear i dunno.
I dont use the CB that the kit comes with so I really don't know what other gear combos are offered for the oem CB.
You might wanna check out Kyosho race spec thread for other questions.

I know this question may have been asked in the past, but .....I have a few Losi 8ight's. A 1.0, L8 and a E. I wanna try Gt8 without having to buy or swap for a new vehicle. Especially when I'm familiar to the 8ight. Has anyone ever seen a 2 speed converted 8ight? Anyone on the forum knows of a CnC shop to make a reasonably price one off chassis?

Yeah, I don't know. Honestly the flat chassis vs kick debate is mute. They both have strong points, and they both have weak points. Both have won races and both can be made more than competitive. To exclude a GT specific chassis, that injected some much needed hype into this class, is just stupid.
