Is the dm1 spec better suited for an offroad engine or an on road engine? Which type works best?

The majority of racers in the US appear to be racing with the .28 Off-road engines. The cars do fly with these engines. The OS VG .21 is also being used, but I have not had any experience with it.
Determine what the GT Class rules are for the tracks you'll be racing at and let those rules be your guide.

Just wanted to introduce myself. Just ordered my first on-road car today. Got the OFNA DM-1 Spec. Live in Austin,TX and looking forward to the new class. Off-road guy at heart, just wanted to try something different. Will be looking through thread for tips.
