i know that class doesnt need my help but i think the spec class could take off in more area's with a single speed rule ...Racers could make any buggy ready with tires and a body and couple of extra clutchbells.....it would be like XL Nitro VTA.... u might not like it but bringing the speed's down and making a class were every car can be competitive is what helped VTA take off ...i race VTA some also, its a great class....im just jealous no gt in my area tons of TC and there used to be tons of Nitro onroad guys now they all race offroad or Electric TC ........man i miss nitro onroad so much cleaner
im jealous and just giving you an outsiders perspective hope i dont offend anyone
good luck to all the tracks and i really do hope the class grows like crazy

Hi, the single speed is not quite enough to provide what is expected in terms of performance for onroad cars on larger tracks. to save the motor a 2-speed tranny is a requirement in most cases, too. otherwise you'll have to cut the tracks to half, and that is what they're doing in southern europe (in rally game) I believe

I'm looking at technical differences, not an unknown price. I looks like this car may have front/rear differential braking, a centax clutch, adjustable blade style swaybars, etc...

we had a dude all he would run is a single speed ...guys would maybe make up a second on the straight but he would kill us on the infield
on bigger 1/8 tracks i would say your right, but not alot of those left in the US for the club level racing and really i just ment for it to take off in my area and other area's it would be on smaller 1/10 electric tracks anyways were all u need is a single speed tranny and guys could pull out there older buggy's and be competitive

Eric, yes it does have a centex clutch, that's it. Some guys already run that clutch in the midwest series races and open classes. The rest of the car is just an offroad buggy.
