Good luck to everyone at the race. I was hoping to be there as this is my favorite on-road class, but I had to watch the budget and right now it says I can't go.
I'm sure it's going to be an outstanding event and it kills me not to be there. Mad props to Jeff for working his ass off to make this happen. I'm sure between Jeff and Doug that it'll go smoothly and everyone will have a blast.

Any more additional info/tips from anyone would be very helpful and appreciated.
Linkages ; They work o.k. for now, not a must do now thing. The new tranny is what I'm waiting for also, just not avail. right now. I think servos have 90oz. of torq., good for now just not fast. I won my local 1st race, I did some diff. lube changes and shock oil for my 2nd upcoming race this sat. Hope this helps a lil.

NICE and SWEEEET looking kit...FedEx delivered mine yesterday afternoon and I was shocked how big the car was....I currently own a Tamiya TRF801X 1/8th nitro buggy and I thought that was big when I first got last year since I started out with 1/10th touring cars...but when I opened the GT2 box the first thing I saw was the Audi shell wrapped in bubble wrap and my jaw just dropped wide open...OMG this is huge than what I expected.

What parts are you upgrading Pit-racer?

Waiting for the kyosho new tranny to be released, tires, clutch shoes, and direct linkages. Gonna try impenema race body, only cause I have a painter that wants to do a trick job on one. Also change to Avid rc brake pads.

Default Ipanema Sports 1/8 GT WC Friday Practice

The track is starting to get faster, for the Ipanema 1/8 GT WC, as more rubber is being put down by all the cars practicing. The fastest lap I saw today was a 23.077. Several drivers turned low 23's and 24's, so qualifying should be close. I would not be surprised if we see some 22 second laps tomorrow during qualifying.

Below is a link of some pictures I took today at Homestead Raceway.

We are using the trial version of RC Scoring Pro which does not support live scoring and results. I think we will have live video feeds on Live RC starting on Saturday.

Well, my practice day did not go well. I busted two tires, broke numerous parts, finished tearing up a body, and did not get a whole lot of quality track time because of it. Hopefully my fortunes will turn around for Saturday and Sunday.

Stay positive Jlock, sat. is a new day. Rebuilding is one of the joys of making a better comeback. At least your there! Doug thanks for the pics.
