This is a competition level car that is designed to compete with the likes of the Serpent 705, Mugen MX-3, etc. No competition level car comes ready to run with everything you need, and to criticize HPI for not including a motor and whatnot on the R40 is ludicrous .

If you want to bash around on your street or in an empty parking lot, buy the RS4 3 RTR .

like accord said

this is HPI's race level kit, and would not really benfit a basher that much as it would a racer because of cirtain parts that are included that make the price go up(centax clutch, foam tires, upper suspension arms, etc.....)

but i like your idea about including a RX pack, that would be nice since i have hump packs

I didn't appreaciate just how LOW it was until I saw that side pic. WOW!

I must say I am impressed. HPI has always had the potential to create 'real' race cars, just never the desire. I hope this car sells well for them, so they will continue to produce race kits in the future.

Nice car...real nice! It has the look of a competition car, and at the same time, something about it still reminds you that its an HPI. What more can you ask for!

Way to go HPI.

If you look at the piece of paper in front of the car itsefl.... it says that the car costs 32000 Yen. Which I converted over to USD... and the cost is about $270.00. But you also have to factor in shipping and other stuff like that. I think it will cost about the same as the others.

It does have a low CG but I think I will wait until people start buying them and find out what some of the problems are. I had a RS4 3 SS and was not to happy with this car.
