Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a used Pro4 for racing carpet, is it a good car for competetive racing?

Default Is it good for racing?

Before everyone started walking around with sagging pants (using belts for r/c yuck yuck), the Pro4 was the dominant on road electric. Atsushi Hara dominated 2005 with the Pro4..and he is probably the best driver out the gate hands down.

I MISSED the R.C. Car Fun Talk.....I was setting-up My Evo 5.

I see you guys race your Pro 4s hard. My Pro 4 is a Fast Show Car/Kit and somewhat a Race Car.
-bxpitbull likes to Race with a Brushless Motor; I thought he would have taken that challenge.
Today was a Nice Day(no rain in the afternoon). I could have got a few test runs.

Take Care

42 should be fine for 540 if thats what you are asking, i used to use a 69T spur never seen anything smaller. But that means you need to run pinions of around 38-41 teeth
