idk about you but those look like steel screws to me! even on the top!
check out any pics you can find of factory hpi/hot bodies guys, more than likely they are running steel.
anyway no matter, the theory is still sound, all weight you would add will be above the top surface of the chassis, while the screw head resides below

On an aluminium bulkhead car, there aren't many metal to plastic screw housings. Most are screws into aluminium. Notice the top decks and the bulkheads.
Also, when a car is 100 grams underweight, why not run steel screws to keep from snapping an aluminium screw during a race? I bet Aluminium screws save a max of 5-10 grams over SS or Ti. screws.

well for staters either get the bmi 3mm chassis and top deck or the buy the 3mm chassis from HPI. well, i dont run foam so i cant help you very much past that. but for sure you need a 3mm chassis

do you guys have the part # for the new updated motor mount that comes with the hara edition pro 4 also the shocks and the one piece bevel gear its almost onroad season not yet but coming soon i just want to upgrade my pro4 to hara spec thanks.

I'm using the PRP chassis kit on carpet with foams and I love it!
The springs I'm running are quite stiff, I'm using the old range of HPI linear 25mm springs, green on the front and red on the back. I'm also running a black rear sway bar, and both front and rear shocks are fully stood up on the towers. I'm running 32 shore HPI foams all round without additive.
Everything else is pretty much stock setup, but hope this helps

just FYI its been on towers page for 2 weeks. also for anyone wanting to know what parts from the Pro4 will fit the Cyclone. check out the cyclones thread, Steve from speed tech got a parts list in and will be giving a list as to waht parts are the same

just wondering is anyone planning on running a cyclone on carpet the car looks good but hoe good will it be indoors and wilo there be a diff available ?
