You guys run front DIFF or front 1-way on outdoor parking lot track..? I will say the turns are medium size.................
I used to run 1-way (no stripping problem)....then changed to front diff....then I am always UNDER.....and gear stripping problem.
I might go back to front 1-way just to make sure I don't have those annoying gear stripping noise...

you don't want it tight...there should be a little play.
Got it....now I remember what that is.....
Thanks for the shim tips....I think I will have to replace the lower diff case so the small shims will not have the extra play.

RainbowTen is kinda tricky....to order from them, read the section on "how to order" and to find parts you've got to use the search tools. Choose "R/C CAR and Parts" in Genre, Leave "ALL" for manufacturer, Leave the Scale blank and type "HPI" in the keyword. That should do it.

This is what I got:

*73109 PRO4 UPPER DECK 2.25mm(WOVEN GRAPHITE), 1

Yeah, I noticed that just now. That may mean they're out of stock. I still sent the order in anyways and I got it eventually. Didn't take very long. You could always try rc-mart.net too.

Rookie what camera did you use for those pictures? Those are excellent quality.

I just ordered quite a bit of stuff from www.precisionrc.com They seem to have just about everything for the Pro 4. Including square and jet parts.

Hi Everyone,

I have a few question on the pro4.
carpet season is coming up in east coast, just wondering if I pick up a BMI chassis, will it be stiff enough for the carpet seasons?

Thanks,

Ming

I have seen posted on here a few times, some of you guys referring to 1.1 version diff gears, what is the difference between these 1.1v and the ones that come with the Hara edition?

The motor shown in the pic are the new HPI 23T R2 Stock motor - they come in 4 different type SS, TS, SL, TL. The 1st letter S = Speed and T = Torque. The 2nd letter is the brush type - S = standup and L for laydown. They are simillar to the Orion Katana 23T.
