Default Cyclone,

Maybe you car is tweaked, did you have a hard crash or did you rebuild the car recently?

I know some guys are having tweak probs with the pro 4

I'm almost sure its that if you checked everything else

this problem sounds pretty serious. I think u should take apart all your gears and check any other parts, maybe binding.

Default poor performance

you might want to check the bearings while your at it I seemed to have trouble with HPI's bearings in my PRO2 but they were rubber selaed.

The great handleing of the car has suddenly gone without any setup change. (it seems like a drift car almost)
Can u think of anything that i show try to fix this problem?
(Some1 has said that it could be that my diff has loosend off of broke but this seems to be in perfect condition.)
help please if u can
rebuild, dude

btw, i changed those small ball bearing on the wheel axles to rubber shielded, tired of changing new ones after every one. seems like rubber shielded holds better.

has anyone had problems with not being able to get enough steering lock with the Pro4 using a Futaba s9550 servo with the HPI servo arm?

no, you just got to make some adjustments. it takes some time, but you can setup everything just fine

Default Bevel gears

Hi guys.

I'm new to the Pro4 and I was wondering if someone could give me a quick run through tips and tricks for the diffs.

I've gone through 4 sets of gears in one race day (busted front and back) and it is frustrating to say the least.

I've shimmed it up at the expense of efficiency and it lasted through the finals but is there something I could do to minimise this from occuring?

It seems that the gears are very susceptible to bumps and nudges when racing.

I'm running a brushless setup equivalent to 8 turns brushed and have already installed a front one-way gear brace.

probably your shimming ain't right or you crash alot! i have never broken my rear gear, and front only once.

Spacing between gears should be tight, but should not make any noise or sound rotating.
