Only that I work for the distributor that distributes HPI in the UK. I no longer work for HPI.

or, in Yoda-talk:

Connected I am not, working for UK distributor I am. Working for HPI no longer am I.

They are still available in HK at 2450HKD which is around 315USD.
I can get one for you if you want, but I only take paypal or direct wire...
Personally I don't think you guys should rush into buying it. Like many people mentioned earlier, first batch generally has problems.. I am waiting to get one in another month or 2 myself...
Plus, I think the price will drop by about 8% by then.

Quality and parts fit was right on the money... no need to sand parts to fit. everything went together very smoothly. Key is to assemble the car slowly and not rush it. Pretapping is advicable and adding a little grease to the screws really helps. Take special care on the shimming of the input shafts and axles. On mine it took .3mm axle shims instead of the stock .2mm.. This may differ from Kit to kit. I'll probably swap out the axle and outdrive bearing soon. Already ordered the Carbon drive shaft and Ti input shafts... this should make for a very light drive train.

If the car performance as expected..it might have a color change one of these days...
the R3 looks great too... debating to get one or not...or I may just wait for the R3 WEB edition.
