In the early pages of this thread... I requested HPI to come out with a 190mm NSX GT body... it's finally been released...

http://www.hpiracing.co.jp/contents/...tion/0405.html

Unfortunately it won't fit the Pro4
I tried to fit the 200mm body..shock towers are way too tall...

Thank you Doug! Finally a positive post about the parts issue. I would have been happy with a neutral post! haha

And I live in central Kansas. Heck we still have outhouses, horse and buggies, the works!!!!! It takes 6 months for clothing trends to hit here and by then its already old news on the coasts!!

BTW, politicians are , well I wont say it!

Did anybody see the pics of Hara's car at the worlds warm up race? What body is that? Its a Hot Bodies body but any part numbers? It looks nice.

zonbie...what i was thinking of what you could do is

cut the bottom set of holes off the tower...and mount the tower with the remaining 2 holes to the bottom part of the mount on the gear box case.

do you get what i mean?

Could do but think of the changes in suspension, u probably wouldent even be able to get your car low enogh with out chopping springs too. I wouldent do it.

I've thought about that as well...like X2 said..it would alter the suspension. If I had some extra towers to chop up...I'd give it a try...and I've got about 8mm before the shock adjust nut tops out.
one of the tracks here lets us run any body we want...this was just an alternate to the stratus, alfa, or Mazda that everyone else is running...

Nobody is flaming anybody here...LOL...at least on my part.

I don't know if I'm considered a "racer" or not, but I can't race mine right now because of parts -- and I know there are others in the same boat. What are my alternatives if I want to race? Either use an old car or get a car with established parts support.

The point of the whole thing is...parts support is why I bought my first HPI and why I've kept buying them since. I could walk into any store I happened to be near and get what I needed.

Now it seems that I'm on the outside of an inside joke where this is actually a common pattern for them...I know *now* not to buy a new HPI, I just wish I would have known that before I laid out the cash for it.

Heck, even people as big as LOSI cannot keep up with demand on the black belt conversion for the XXX-S's.
That's an upgrade, right? Who cares? LOL

I'm talking arms, c-hubs, hardware...you name it. Virtually everything on the car is in very short supply or backordered till who knows.

Remember who gave you the Ultimate tip? Now they're all out.

I hope everybody hits the tracks this weekend so we can compare notes and learn more about what the car wants on all surfaces.
If I hit the tracks this weekend, it won't be with the Pro 4...and it won't be because I don't want to.
