sorry mate the only thing i can suggest is pop out the bearing on that side take it to your local bearing shop and see if they have something the same or check internet hobbie shops ie... rc mart for a one way refit kit. which if they make them would come wit 2 new bearings and mabey the drive cups. wot is the condition of the drive cup on that side?failing that buy a new one . ive never had that problem so they are the only solutions i can offer

Its seems to be slipping again.......GOSH does this means I have to buy a new one-way diff ???......its not totally slipping........once in a while it slips and that causes the car to steer to the right side upon acceleration........

even if you have to buy a new 1 there only about $30.00 USD anyways. have you looked for a refit kit

Well for some people USD 30 is alot of money man.......i think I'll open a new thread jz incase someone had solve this problem before......

Are you referring to the cup joint ??? If so how do you check for wear???

the shaft of the cup joint, drive cup whatever you want to call it. check for wear on the shaft were the bearing runs on it. if it is worn there will be a lip on the shaft. any sign of a lip i would say that is your problem because the bearing isnt grabbing it under load

I think you're right dude.......I'll try to shrink wrap the shaft part so that it wud grip the bearing.......let me try it 1st....who knows it might work...

Would it be ok if I were to put some glue on the shaft so that the bearing wud stick to it instead of slipping???

unfortunatly you cant repair a precision part with out a lot of trouble. it would be cheaper and easier to buy 2 new ones if you dont want a failuer in the near future again. check ebay.com or rcmart.com for replacement at a good price.so in breif no to gluing metal.

In my opinion if the one way is buggered, its buggered. I was of the impression you cant really disassemble it. You are actually meant to maintain the one-way ie oil/regrease it occasionally.
Ive never had problems with the one way aside from them wearing where one side appears to have more friction than the other. I wouldnt bother putting stuff on the drive cups. Its not gunna stick and its just gunna rip off under the loadings and go through the bearings of the one-way. If the one-way isnt already broken it probably will be after that happens. But then again you probably dont have much to loose.
With regards to soaking bevel gears, that also comes from the HPI website. It was posted as an official comment and the reasoning is something along the lines of the gears dry out and become more brittle. When i say to soak in hot water i boil some water put it in a cup then drop the bevel gear in there till the water cools down (ie about 10 minutes).
