So the TOP axle pin holders are a direct fit on the 416. Basically, rather than use a setscrew to hold the cross pin in a CVD, this sleeve slides over it and holds everything together. It eliminates issues with pins coming loose, or setscrews backing out, stripping, etc. The only thing you have to be mindful of is that they increase the diameter of the axle ever so slightly, so you want to be careful none of the screws from your ball studs (or coming through the bottom of the steering block) are too long.

In addition to the reduced maintenance, they seem to free up the CVD's in the front a bit as well.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the Tamiya blue titanium turnbuckles for the front and rear camber links? Are they the same length too? Thanks in advance.

TRF titanium ones are:

42118 for the camber links (32mm)
42120 for the steering links (42mm)

42122 is the wrench for these.

Two thumbs up for the TOP axle pin sleeves. I've been using them since the Reedy Race with great results. Since you no longer use a setscrew, the pin is free to rotate and makes the universal operate smoother.

How are the sleeves held in place?

TJ, Its a collar that slides over the axle right where the pin goes in. They make them in Ti, and red. Aluminum Axle Pin Collar. They fit snug and they can only slide off one way which is toward the bearing so they can't come off.

I was also a little concerned about that, so I just put a little dab of tamiya anti wear grease on the axle before I slid the sleeve over the axle. They haven't moved yet so it works.
